The Indigenous People of Biafra have reacted to the trending news on social media accusing the River State governor, Nyensom Wike to refrain from attacking IPOB members.
Wike was quoted to have said that he will wipe out IPOB Agitators in River State.
IPOB leader Emma Powerful, responded via his Twitter handle saying, “We the IPOB leadership want you or anyone thinking of silencing our agitation to know that you cannot wipe Out Biafra Agitators neither can anyone stop the movement of God’s people,” he said.
Meanwhile, the southeast Igbo forum, Ohaneze Ndi-Igbo has called on River State governor Nyensom Wike to tread with caution in handling the IPOB matters.

Message to Wike, “We the elders of Ohaneze Ndi Igbo, advise that you tread with caution in handling the IPOB matters,
” We have observed that the group has remained law-abiding and has remained focused in their agitation for a better society midst provocation by the Nigerian Armed Forces who Kill and Maim members at will under the different guise”.
“As the number one security officer in the state, we expect you to protect every citizen in the state.”
