Nigeria’s Senate minority leader, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe has hailed IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu for their unwavering support for the people of Eastern Nigeria.

The senator said he knew that Nnamdi Kanu is a good man and mean well for the people, that’s is why he took the risk of standing surety for him when he was granted bail.

Furthermore, Abaribe said IPOB has shown capacity and strength, and leadership qualities which the people of the east truly deserves.

He wondered what would have happened to the people now in this hard time if Nnamdi Kanu was killed during Operation Python Dance which according to him many Igbo politicians supported.

“It is time we leaders in the East retrospect and introspects over how we have handled IPOB issues since their inception,” He said!

“Have you people seen why I supported Nnamdi Kanu throughout the time he was in Nigeria? I knew he is a good man and means well for the people. That’s why I took it upon myself to stand surety for him when he was granted bail. Most times I see my fellow politicians against Kanu and IPOB. That is not good at all. Even in the North, their politicians don’t speak against Boko Haram and killer herdsmen even when it’s a terrorist group. We need to give IPOB support since they have proven that they can deliver. What if Kanu was killed in Python Dance like many Igbo politicians supported it, who could have unite our people in this hard time. “It is time we leaders in the East retrospect and introspects over how we have handled IPOB issues since their inception”,  Abaribe said.
