As the lockdown exercise entered its second week, robbers have continued to threaten the peace of communities in major parts of the Ogun state.

Despite the lockdown directives of the federal government, Ogun communities are under attack by series of hoodlums rampaging various homes in Ogun state.

 The panicked residents of people of Alagbado, Agbado crossing, and its environment have cried out on a series of terrorizing activities that have now become the norm since the lockdown has been imposed.
Robbers are currently terrorizing the residents of Alagbado, Agbado crossing and its environs in Ogun State an eyewitness said.

The people of Alagbado, Agbado crossing, and its environment are been subjected to attack by armed robbers for the past few days.

According to report the armed robbers stormed the area, pillaging their properties and monies and leaving indelible injuries both in the minds and body of the people of the area.

The thieves, we learned, covered their faces with masks, and had with them different dangerous weapons ranging from guns, machete, armlets and all sorts.

The pathetic situation arose in developing area when one of the deadly robbers mistakenly cut a four-month-old baby while wielding his machete.

Speaking under anonymity, our source said, “it was a pathetic situation because after the robbery the mother was inconsolable as the baby lost so much blood during the robbery and by the time the baby could be taken to the hospital he has already given up.

According to a resident of the area, Mr. Lawson who made this communication to Waka About Africa says the “people of Alagbado, Agbado crossing and its environment are been subjected to attack by armed robbers for the past few days, as a result, we now stay awake with burning of tires on all street, we are calling on the governor and the police authority to come to our rescue”. 

Another resident, Pastor  Francis told our reporter that the robbers come at about 1.00 am, ‘We all now stay outside our various home and all youths carrying sticks, cutlass, bottles, any available items for protection in this area to protect ourselves, he said.

Mr. Lanre in his part confirms that the youths in the communities are protecting their loved ones and their properties by becoming vigilantes.
He said, the robbing includes both the residents of Abosule Community Road Ishaga Agbado crossing Agbado crossing in Ifo local government area of Ogun state.
