COVID-19: FAAN Suspends National Aviation Conference

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has suspended the much-publicized and talked about National Aviation Conference earlier scheduled for April 1-4, April 2020, at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.

An online statement issued by the General Manager, Corporate Affairs, Mrs Henrietta Yakubu, also notified stakeholders and the general public of the suspension.

She stated that suspension was due to the need to adhere to safety precautions in the face of the Coronavirus presently spreading globally.

A new date, FAAN stated would be announced for the conference as soon as possible.

The authority regrets any inconvenience this postponement might have caused you.

Recalled that the World Health Organization (WHO) recently declared COVID 19 a global pandemic and advised that as much as possible, individuals and organizations should avoid clustered gatherings to prevent the spread of the virus.
