Arik Air has extended the cancellation of flight operations due to the curfew in Lagos state and some other parts of the country.
A statement by the Public Relations and Communications Manager, Arik Air Adebanji Ola explained that all scheduled flights have therefore been canceled until the lifting of the 24 hours curfew by the government.
“Arik Air regrets whatever inconvenience the cancellations may have caused our esteemed customers.
“Further updates on flight operations will be given as required,” the statement said.

Specifically, the airline stated that it would be operating flights from its second hub in Abuja to Port Harcourt, Ilorin, Benin, Kano, and Yola.
According to a statement issued by the Public Relations & Communications Manager, Arik Air Adebanji Ola, Arik Air will on Friday operate one flight each from Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport (NAA), Abuja to Port Harcourt, Ilorin, and Kano.
Flights from Lagos to other parts of the country will however resume upon the lifting of the 24 hours curfew by the Lagos state government.
The airline had earlier canceled all scheduled flights for Wednesday, October 21, 2020, due to the 24 hours curfew announced by the Lagos State government on Tuesday.
