FG Introduces New Sanction Regime On Visitors Who Overstayed

The Federal Government has introduced a new sanction regime against visitors who ‘overstay’ in the country without the necessary approval. The sanction, which depends on the number of days a foreigner overstayed in the country, ranges from $200 (about N72, 000) to $4000 (about N.18 million), depending on the number of days the foreigner stayed in Nigeria. MTN generated voice calls by 7.2 percent in 2017

The revenue generated from voice calls by MTN Nigeria grew by 7.2 per cent in 2017 at constant exchange rate, contributing significantly to the MTN Group’s service revenue. Data subscription also contributed to the earnings of the company, expanding by 86.6 per cent year-on-year as shown by the 2017 financial report of the company. Revenue Automation: NCAA Gives Foreign Airlines December 31, Deadline

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has given December 31, 2018 deadline to the Foreign Airlines that are yet to automate/integrate on the Avitech platform for the remittance of five percent Ticket Sales Charge/Cargo Sales Charge(TSC/CSC) to do so or face severe sanctions.
